Connie has dedicated her life to service. She’s served overseas as an officer in the Air Force and worked as a public defender and an elected public servant.

Connie is dedicated to making sure veterans have a smooth transition and warm welcome when returning from deployment or re-entering civilian life. In the Ohio Statehouse, Connie worked to address the challenges of deployment for the service member and their family, and introduced the Ohio Veterans Bonus. Most recently, Connie has spent two years advocating for veterans and helping those with medical needs get diagnosed and treatment so they can return to work.
