In rural SW Ohio in Clermont County there have been some strange goings on among local Republican pols in the recent past, I won't bore you with the details other than to say a Clermont County Commissioner was missing in action such that meetings could not b held due to a lack of quorum. Then he abruptly resigned due to health reasons. But now this story breaks.
It seems this staunch Republican has been charged. From the Cincinnati Enquirer only moments ago:
Former Clermont County Commissioner Archie Wilson, who abruptly resigned last week, is the focus of an investigation into prostitution and drugs.A misdemeanor arrest warrant on charges of prostitution and trafficking a controlled substance is in place in Kenton County for Archie Wilson, who is named as the suspect in a prostitution investigation that began last summer, according to the Kenton County Attorney’s Office and the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office.

It seems the Commissioner may have been crossing a state line (into Kentucky) and paying for hookers with cocaine. The hooker, a Ms. Amanda Lay (real names?) apparently turned state's evidence.
