Just one year after their big 2010 victories, there is clear buyer's remorse:
[T]he results sent a very clear message that voters there regret how they voted in 2010- our poll found that if voters could do it over they would have reelected Ted Strickland by a 55-37 margin over John Kasich.
Then, of course, was the stunning rejection of Issue 2—a dramatic victory for labor in the face of millions of shadowy unregulated conservative dollars. Of 88 counties in Ohio, voters rejected the anti-labor SB-5 in all but six counties. The final results were a dramatic repudiation of the GOP agenda.
And for conservatives who might want to dismiss this as a "partisan poll," this is the same poll that nailed Issue 2 within one point:
Labor is poised for a big victory in Ohio Tuesday. PPP's final poll on Issue 2 finds 59% of voters plan to reject Senate Bill 5, with only 36% voting for approval.
The final results?

The GOP's path to victory without Ohio is difficult. They can do it, but they'd have to flip Colorado, Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Not impossible, but a tall order regardless.
