Most of the focus on the part of the Progressive movement so far this year has been on Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan and the rest of the Rust Belt, whether it is recalling the 8 eligible Wisconsin GOP state senators, planning the recall of Scott Walker, collecting enough signatures for a pro-labor ballot referendum in Ohio this November, or the coming efforts later this summer to recall wingnut Michigan Governor Rick Snyder and reverse his "fiscal martial law" bill through referendum. These are all very noble causes to be focused on, and I wholeheartedly support these efforts. However, I feel it necessary to point out other statewide elections coming up in November which we could also focus on, in addition to these efforts, whether it is defeating a right-wing initiative or passing a Progressive initiative. I will list these ballot measures below the fold, courtesy of the wonderful folks over at Ballotpedia.
