Feingold for WI Gov; Moore for MI Gov

This will be short and fast in the interest of time.

We need good authentic candidates to run for key positions with a proven record of sticking to their guns come hell or high water.  Nothing new in this statement.  But...two of those candidates are former Senator Russ Feingold of Wisconsin and Michael Moore from Michigan.  Both should run for Governor of their respective states.  This is their kind of environment and this is their moment.

With the talk of recall in Wisconsin we will need someone to carry our banner and I cannot think of a better candidate for Governor of Wisconsin than former Senator Russ Feingold.  And across the lake, I'm not aware of any move to recall the Michigan governor but there ought to be with the talk of fiscal emergency and eliminatinmg local governments.  Michael Moore would be a perfect fit.  He roots run deep in Michigan and his line "America is not broke ... the cash is just not in your hands" resonates everywhere.  It even "hit home" with a friend of mine who is a retired Air Force officer and not necessarily a great admirer of Michael Moore.  But the telling point is he brought up Moore's speech in Wisconsin in a conversation two days ago, not me.  If Moore can get this guy to think favorably about him, then we've got a winner!  (And as we know Feingold has already won several elections in Wisconsin.  I don't think I need to say anymore about him.)

If you haven't seen Moore's appearance on Rachel Maddow, check it out (sorry, no link).  He had a good "prop" to go with his message:  a set of handcuffs for arresting the criminal banksters and put them in jail for what they've done and how they've enriched themselves at everyone else's expense.

I don't know the state laws in WI and MI for recall and replacement.  Are they "California style" where recall and replacement are on the same ballot or are they two separate elections?  Either way, let's look to the future -- our future -- and get something started.

What say you?
