On the day of the Michigan primary March 10th, Ohio GOP Governor, Mike DeWine asked Sen. Bernie Sanders and Vice President Joe Biden to cancel their rallies scheduled for later that night in Ohio. The Trump-loving governor at the time cites fear of the Coronavirus spreading as his chief concern for the request.

Now is a good time for me to state, I am all for public safety especially when there is a roaming pandemic. However, I get very skeptical of one's motive, especially a Trump backer, coming with a request to Trump’s opponents less than 24hours before polls open.

Yes, Gov. Mike DeWine is back at it again with another request to Democrats which seems design to assist Donald Trump's re-election bid, more than to help combat the spread of COVID-19.

Ohio along with 4 other states is scheduled to vote on March 17th. However, with just under 24 hours before the first vote cast, we hear this: “We cannot conduct this election tomorrow,” Gov. Mike DeWine said.

Oh, wait for the kicker. DeWine is demanding the primary move to NOT April, NOT May but all the way to JUNE 2nd. Again citing the COVID-19 outbreak.

To make matters worse, this Trump clown will be filing a lawsuit to force the primary all the way to June. This further proves that this is more about politics than the spreading of COVID-19.

With the 2020 Democratic National Convention scheduled to begin Jul 13, 2020. Going along with Gov. DeWine’s request gives our nominee little to no time to unify the party heading into a convention just around the corner.
Thankfully, a judge sees right through the Governor’s shenanigans and slaps down his political posturing. COLUMBUS, Ohio — Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Judge Richard Frye has rejected a lawsuit calling for a delay of Tuesday's primary in Ohio.
The election and in-person voting will go on as scheduled.
Be vigilant. We must keep an eye on these Republicans trying to stop the general election from taking place using the smokescreen of the Coronavirus as an excuse to stay in power.
