OH-Gov: Sen. Tim Kaine (D. VA) Helps Richard Cordray (D) Get Ready To Defeat Mike DeWine (R)

Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D. VA) in support or Richard Cordray’s (D. OH) gubernatorial campaign:

As Virginia’s Senator, I’ve watched Republicans do literally everything in their power to dismantle our health care. Their obsession with throwing millions of people off their insurance is unconscionable.

In Virginia, we’re lucky that our two Democratic Governors did everything in their power to stand up to these attacks. They worked to expand Medicaid and preserve protections for pre-existing conditions.

Ohioans deserve to have a leader like that as Governor. That’s why it’s critical we’re doing everything possible to make Rich Cordray Ohio’s next governor.

Rich’s opponent has made attacking the health care of Ohioans his top priority for a decade. He doesn’t stand up for Ohioans with pre-existing conditions, and has promised to end the Medicaid expansion.

I’ve served as governor. I know what it takes to fight the special interests and win. And I know how persistent Republicans are in their efforts to take people’s health care away.

That’s why I’m imploring you—don’t let that happen to Ohio. Chip in whatever you can to help Rich Cordray stop Republican attempts to take away health care from Ohioans.
