Received this e-mail from the congressional candidate, Aftab Pureval (D. OH-01) (who is endorsed by President Obama), in support of Danny O’Connor’s (D. OH-12) campaign for tomorrow’s Special Election to fill outgoing-Rep. Pat Tiberi’s (R. OH-12) seat:

The blue wave first hit Virginia, then Alabama, and then again in deep-red Western Pennsylvania.
Now, we have a chance to add Ohio to that list -- because fellow Ohio Democrat Danny O’Connor is up by just one point going into OH-12’s special election tomorrow(!).
Trump won Ohio’s 12th congressional district by 11 points in 2016. It’s been a GOP stronghold for years but is now being rated a “toss-up” (just like our seat).
The only way we can protect Medicare funding, support our public education system, and combat climate change is by taking back the House in 2018.
For us to do that we must win seats like OH-1 and OH-12-- and because Danny and I both have rejected any kind of corporate PAC money, we’re counting your help to win big.
On the night before Danny’s election, I’m asking if you can chip in toward his grassroots campaign -- and add OH-12 to the list of districts where the blue wave has crashed down.
