Early voting for the Aug. 7th special election in OH-12 to fill the seat left vacant by resigned Republican Pat Tiberi began on July 10th. As such it’s the first chapter in the blue wave, and boy is it a doozy so far. The daily score up through but not including today in Franklin County at the early vote center in Columbus:

Franklin County includes 31% of the total registered voters in OH-12.
In aggregate so far:
D 1290
R 149
G 2
U 145
So not only do D's outnumber R's by almost 9:1, but 91% of early voters in fact have a party affiliation. So the "unaffiliated" unknown factor is pretty low.
Early voting continues through Aug. 6.
BTW, registered R's actually outnumber registered D's in OH-12 in Franklin County.
I guess you could call this “woke”—and on the R side “comatose.”
