When President Obama chose Rich to be the director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I got to see Rich in action as he took on big banks, predatory lenders and credit card companies for people who were being cheated out of their hard-earned money. He promised working families that he would fight for them, and he delivered, ultimately getting $12 billion returned to 30 million Americans.
That means a lot to parents working hard to make ends meet or worrying if their children are going to have the same opportunities that they did.
