When President Obama chose Rich to be the director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I got to see Rich in action as he took on big banks, predatory lenders and credit card companies for people who were being cheated out of their hard-earned money. He promised working families that he would fight for them, and he delivered, ultimately getting $12 billion returned to 30 million Americans.
That means a lot to parents working hard to make ends meet or worrying if their children are going to have the same opportunities that they did.
We have to do everything we can to make sure thatRichardCordrayis Ohio's next Governor.
As governor, Rich will make sure every kid in Ohio has a chance to get a good education. He'll protect Medicaid expansion and make sure that millions of families across Ohio have access to the health care they need, and he'll make sure that economic opportunity and good jobs are available across Ohio.
He already made one great decision: choosing Betty Sutton to be his running mate. As a member of Congress, Betty worked tirelessly for Ohioans -- and cast a courageous vote to pass the Affordable Care Act.
I know Rich and Betty will be advocates for Ohio families, because they've both been doing just that for years. I can't wait to help them win.
If you're ready to turn Ohio blue and elect Rich and Betty this fall, add your name right now:
