In September, a friend of mine hosted a house party for Rabbi Robert Barr as he was exploring a run for Congress in Ohio’s 1st Congressional District.
As Rabbi Barr spoke with us, it didn’t take long before I realized he would make a great representative.
Why?
Because he didn’t have any trouble talking about what he believes America stands for and how far off track we now find ourselves. In short, he’s not a career politician. He’s a values candidate with strong ties to Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio.
As the first pulpit Rabbi to run for Congress, I asked Barr if he’d answer a few questions about his experiences and what led him to run for Congress.
