Many people here talk about how Howard Dean was a great DNC chair because he had the "50-state strategy". The idea was to make sure that the Democratic Party appeals to all parts of the nation, so that everyone can vote for our party, making our lives and their lives better. And they say Tim Kaine is a terrible DNC chair because he couldn't prevent such losses, because he didn't use the 50-state strategy. Obviously, the details vary based on opinion, but the consensus seems to be that we need to win everywhere.
I have a better solution: drop all that hooey. The 50-state strategy is a waste of time, and actually hurts liberalism's future.
