OH-Sen: Elizabeth Warren (D. MA) Coming To Columbus September 17th To GOTV For Ted Strickland (D)

I was out of town for my brother’s Bachelor Part so I’m playing a little catch up today. Received this e-mail from U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D. MA) yesterday in support of former Governor Ted Strickland’s (D. OH) U.S. Senate campaign:

We need Ted Strickland in the U.S. Senate which is why I'm headed to Columbus this weekend.
This Saturd‌ay, Septembe‌r 17t‌h, I’m headed to Columbus with Ted -- and I'm really looking forward to it.

At this point in my 2012 Senate campaign, I was down by five points in the most recent poll. But we didn’t panic, and we didn’t give up -- we got organized. And tw‌o mont‌hs lat‌er, we not only closed the gap -- we won the election by eight points.

Team, this is the same make-or-break time for Ted. He is locked in a tough fight with his Republican opponent -- but I believe he can win.

That’s why I’m going to Columbus to help my friend, Ted. Can I also count on your help?
