OH-Sen: Strickland (D) Puts The Pressure On Portman (R) To Un-Endorse Trump For 2nd Amendment Remark

Received this e-mail today from former Governor Ted Strickland’s (D. OH) U.S. Senate campaign:

We need to stop Donald Trump. This is dangerous. This is beyond the pale.

At a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina today, Trump warned his supporters that if Hillary Clinton is elected president and appoints judges to the Supreme Court, there is nothing anyone can do about it. Unless...

This is beyond any decency. Trump just suggested someone should shoot Hillary Clinton. This is absolutely disgusting.

If Rob Portman won't stand up to Donald Trump now, after this, how can we ever count on him to stand up for Ohio?

Rob Portman should be ashamed. He has continued to endorse his friend, Donald Trump, after every racist, sexist, and xenophobic statement he has made. After Trump insulted women, veterans, minorities, and even reporters with disabilities, Portman continued to back Trump. After Trump launched a slanderous attack on Captain Khan's Gold Star family, Portman continued to back him.

And today, after Trump just suggested someone should shoot Hillary Clinton, Portman continues to back Trump.

Enough is enough. It's time for Portman to renounce his endorsement of Donald Trump: Sign my petition calling on Portman to un-endorse Trump.
