OH-Sen: Strickland (D) Reminds Voters It's Been 100 Days Since Portman (R) Refused To Do His Job

Received this e-mail today from former Governor Ted Strickland’s (D. OH) U.S. Senate campaign:

It has been exactly 100 days since President Obama named Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court...100 days that Senator Portman and Senate Republicans have refused to do their job and even consider this extremely qualified judge.
I am extremely disappointed by Portman’s refusal to do his job -- I am disappointed that he is letting Ohio and our country down.

You know what would happen if you refused to do your job. So today, on the 100-day anniversary of Judge Merrick Garland’s nomination to the Supreme Court, we must ramp up the pressure on Portman and Senate Republicans.

Poll after poll show that the vast majority of Ohioans -- and Americans -- want Portman and Senate Republicans to give Judge Merrick Garland a fair hearing. Yet, they refuse to even consider him. We must send a clear message to Rob Portman on the 100-day anniversary of Judge Garland’s nomination: Do your job, Rob.
