Senator Cory Booker Gives Impassioned Senate Floor Speech About Marriage Equality Plaintiff's Story

Senator Cory Booker has been a fervent supporter of marriage equality for some time. So, it is no surprise that he would give a very passionate speech about marriage equality plaintiff, Jim Obergefell, and in telling Mr. Obergefell's story. His husband, John Arthur, had ALS and has passed away since the district court ruling in favor of recognizing their out of state marriage (from Maryland). That ruling was later reversed by a Sixth Circuit panel, and has been appealed to the SCOTUS.
