A marriage equality judgment is coming in Ohio—soon:
Federal Judge Timothy Black says he will issue a ruling April 14 striking down Ohio's gay marriage ban passed by voters in 2004. Attorney Al Gerhardstein, representing plaintiffs in a lawsuit about birth certificates, amended his request to ask Black to declare all aspects of Ohio's gay marriage ban unconstitutional. In federal court Friday morning, the judge said he would do that.
In the original lawsuit, three lesbian couples asked that Ohio be required to honor out-of-state marriages by putting the names of both mothers on the birth certificates of their as yet unborn children. Judge Black previously ordered Ohio to record a man as married and his husband as his surviving spouse on his death certificate.

There's no word yet on whether Black will stay his ruling or whether the state will appeal.

12:17 PM PT: It's now being reported that the ruling will be more limited:

CORRECTION: Judge says he will order Ohio to recognize out-of-state gay marriages. (Previously said judge would strike down Ohio ban.)
