Quite well, Mrs. Palin - thank you very much.
I stayed up way too late, watching the returns. You can imagine my relief and joy when Ohio was called for President Barack Obama. I was also delighted to see Senator Sherrod Brown defeat Josh Mandel, despite the millions of dollars on negative ads spent by the superpacs. When Pennsylvania was called for Obama - that was a turning point for me in terms of my pervasive anxiety that Americans were so entrenched in the Fox News alternate reality bubble that we would put Romney into office as the next president.
Yesterday I mentioned that I had been at President Obama's campaign kick-off rally. I also attended the one at Ohio State University October 9, 2012, and I helped with phone banking, photography, and behind-the-scenes work for the UA for Obama campaign effort. Here are a few of my photos from the past six months that reflect the theme of hope and change, which was a focal point for the sadly misinformed Sarah Palin back in the 2008 campaign.
