Do you need some 'feel good', a little inspiration maybe, to start your weekend off right? Well, I might have found some. While traveling the tubz checking up on another story I wanted to write about, I stumbled on these two videos of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Betty Sutton and Ted Strickland speaking to Democrats in Ohio this week.
I'll let the videographer set the stage for you. Enjoy.
The Blunt Amendment is making American women more blunt. We're ready to speak plainly and call out misogyny in the GOP. To me, GOP = Misogyny. I was at the Democratic Party Legacy Dinner this weekend and a few things the speakers said, reinforced my point. So here they are assembled together for your social media distribution and amplification. Please share with other women you know who might not yet see this as clearly as they should. Together we can win in 2012, because this time, it's personal.concept, filming, editing, and notation by Lauren Michelle Kinsey @OHLMK

I'm a big proponent of using social media to get the truth into the hands of women. That's why when Democratic National Committee Chair, Debbie Wasserman Schultz mentioned twitter, I was jumping up and down a little behind the video camera. She was speaking at the Ohio Democratic Women's Caucus Brunch. She was going through a list of ways we can help put more Democrats in office to protect us and our children from the right wing attacks. I focused this video on the message about twitter, because when you focus a message on social media it has much more impact. And we need impact if we're going to win.Focus. Impact. Win. Because in 2012, it's personal.

Our country and the Democratic Party need so many more strong women on local school boards, in statehouses and in Congress and I hope it starts to happen this year. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is going to be one to watch this year as a fierce advocate for womens' issues and for the reelection of President Obama.
I hope the history of 2012 is written as the year that women of this country spoke up, rose up and voted out, every fool Republican who dared to put forward over 1100 peices of legislation this year against womens' reproductive rights and access to health care.
Enough is enough.
