7:55 PM PT: NBC News says it will not call Ohio tonight.
7:58 PM PT (Steve Singiser): Reiterating something that closed out thread #10: former Democratic Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy will not be returning to Congress in 2012. In the heavily Democratic OH-03, former state legislator Joyce Beatty has defeated Kilroy, who conceded defeat earlier tonight.
8:07 PM PT (Steve Singiser): Thanks to a big dump of votes from Southern Ohio (Clermont County, in particular), Mitt Romney is now up by about 1500 votes. This is his first lead in Ohio since very early in the evening.
8:10 PM PT (Steve Singiser): Incidentally, that dump of Clermont County votes (now 100 percent reporting) might have an interesting side effect beyond the presidential race. Clermont went narrowly (50-42) for challenger Brad Wenstrup over incumbent GOP Rep. Jean Schmidt. Given Wenstrup's home field edge in Hamilton County, Schmidt is going to need a monster effort in the outer counties of the district to avoid defeat.
